Zell am See-Kaprun awarded by UNWTO
The United Nations World Tourism Organization has recognized 32 tourism destinations as "Best Tourism Village of 2022". Among the 136 regions from 57 UNWTO member countries that applied, two destinations from Austria could claim the title: Zell am See-Kaprun and Wagrain-Kleinarl.
From Austria to Vietnam
For the year 2022, the title goes to 32 destinations in 18 countries. All recognize cultural and natural assets while preserving and promoting local values and products. As KEM village, Zell am See-Kaprun has impressed with a high level of commitment and numerous measures against climate change.
