Ski & hiking hut on the Kitzsteinhorn

The history of the Krefelder Hütte dates back to 1909, when the German Alpine Club opened it as the first mountain shelter on the Kitzsteinhorn. The hut has been extended and renovated time and again ever since.

Today, the Krefelder Hütte presents itself as a mix of coziness and modern style. The dining room radiates a romantic hut atmosphere, especially in the evening, for the Krefelder Hütte provides accommodation for overnight guests. The spacious sun terrace gives spectacular views of the surrounding high-alpine mountain world.
