  Sliding fun & cooling in the snow at 3,000 m
  Snow sliding, snowball fights and building snowmen in July and August? At the ICE ARENA on the glacier plateau at 3,000 meters, this dream comes true, for here, there’s plenty of snow even in summer – providing fun and cooling. Slides are available for free on-site. After the ride down, a magic carpet conveniently takes both young and old back to the starting point. The ICE ARENA Snack Bar at the foot of the slope offers snacks and refreshments as well as loungers on the snow beach for sunbathing and relaxing.
• 3K K-onnection
  Top-notch panoramic ride
  It is considered one of world’s most modern and energy-efficient cable cars and connects the Maiskogel family mountain with the Kitzsteinhorn: The ride on the 3K K-onnection offers a breathtaking 360° view of the surrounding high-alpine mountain world all the way down to the Zell basin.

  The picturesque hiking trails at Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel provide unique nature bliss for young and old: From the valley in Kaprun over the Maiskogel family mountain to the highest point in the Salzburger Land to be reachable by cable cars at Kitzsteinhorn, nature lovers pass through four climate and vegetation zones. Among the most popular trails rank the “Maiskogel Hut Tour” for the whole family and the exquisitely beautiful “Alexander Enzinger Weg”. On both mountains, excellent restaurants and quaint huts invite to local delicacies and superb views.

  The Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel have long enjoyed great popularity among bikers. From the highest access point at 2,450 meters, trails and routes lead all the way down to the Kaprun town center. And where there’s a way down, there’s also a way up – whether for the particularly ambitious with pure muscle power, with the aid of an e-motor, or sectionally combined with panoramic cable car rides, where the bike is always allowed in the gondola free of charge. Either way, bikers experience picturesque landscapes of various vegetation zones from the valley all the way up to high-alpine terrain in this unique nature area at the Hohe Tauern National Park border.
• K-ONNECTION
  From the valley straight to the glacier
  The seamless cable car network allows visitors to comfortably float to all access points of hiking paths, MTB trails and bike routes. The bikes join their bikers free of charge in the gondolas, which all give spectacular panoramic views. The 12-km-long K-ONNECTION is the longest cable car route in the Eastern Alps and with an elevation gain of 2,261 meters it also conquers the most vertical meters in that same area. It starts in the Kaprun town center at 768 meters and ends at Salzburg's highest-situated attraction TOP OF SALZBURG at 3,029 meters.

  Alpine Coaster in Kaprun
  A ride on the Alpine Coaster makes little and big hearts leap with joy. The trip starts at the valley station with a leisurely ascent. After reaching the highest point, the speedy descent begins. The cart runs on tracks that lead back down to the valley. The ride covers 1,300 meters and features bridges, waves and turns – terrific fun for young and old.

  Near the Alpincenter at 2,450 meters, kids take the role of native wild animals and hide like marmots in the burrow, climb like ibex on walls or float like hawks in the air.
