General

starjack is an Austria-based online booking platform specialized in mountain railways and ski resorts. It enables to buy ski passes and tickets for our cable cars easily and conveniently online, without having to queue at the cash desks on site.

Kitzsteinhorn tickets on kitzsteinhorn.at/shop are sold exclusively via starjack. In order to use this service, a free registration is necessary – with a valid email address, via a Facebook or via a Google account.

Incert is a platform we use for our Kitzsteinhorn Online Shop to sell vouchers, event tickets and gifts. It provides a user-friendly and safe solution to buy these products and get personalized gift vouchers and event tickets in digital form.

All tickets and ski passes that are valid and relevant for the current season are available in our Online Shop, as well as vouchers, event tickets and Kitzsteinhorn gifts.

The Kitzsteinhorn offers group rates and discounted rates for groups. Find the current group rates here.

The data provided in the course of your online purchase is saved by starjack and passed on to us (Gletscherbahnen Kaprun Aktiengesellschaft – Kitzsteinhorn), for statistical and legal reasons.
In case you have explicitly agreed to it, your data is also used for marketing purposes.

Ski passes & tickets

The tickets are always valid for the day or the time period selected in the order process.

The first day of validity of season and annual passes can be selected – within the overall period of validity of the season or annual pass – in the course of the order process.

We offer different delivery options for the different tickets:

  • E-ticket
  • Pick-up voucher
  • KeyCard recharge
  • Postal delivery

Shipping & Delivery

After successfully completing the order process, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Moreover, you will receive either the ticket or the pick-up code by email, depending on the delivery option you chose. These are the delivery options:

  • E-ticket
  • Pick-up voucher
  • KeyCard recharge
  • Postal delivery

When buying an e-ticket, you receive your ticket by email, as a PDF that includes a QR code. This QR code enables you to go directly through the turnstiles of every cable car. You don't have to get an extra ticket at the cash desk.

With the pick-up voucher, you can get your ticket at our pick-up machines on site.

You receive the pick-up code after successfully completing the order process in our Online Shop. Our pick-up machines are located at the Kaprun Center cash desks as well as at the Gletscherjet 1 valley station.

Yes – you can recharge KeyCards you have already at home. That works with ski tickets, mountainbike tickets as well as with season and annual passes.

Your starjack account shows all the KeyCards you have already purchased or registered.

Production and delivery of a starjack KeyCard costs EUR 5.90 incl. VAT for Austria and Germany.
For all other EU countries, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Great Brittain, the KeyCard costs EUR 5.90 incl. VAT plus EUR 0.50 shipping.

Delivery time: starjack KeyCards are sent from Austria on business days. Within Austria, delivery time is about 2–4 business days, throughout Europe about 4–7 business days.

Refund & Cancelation

Online ticket purchases can generally not be rebooked or canceled.

Under the following two conditions, starjack allows you to undo your ticket purchase and credits your starjack account with the ticket value, so you can start a new order process:

  • If you cancel within one hour after purchasing the ticket (e.g. with season passes, for they normally are not valid immediately after the purchase)
  • You can return your ticket in your starjack account on "My Tickets" until 8 a.m. of the first day of validity of your purchased ticket.

After successfully canceling a ticket purchase, your starjack account is automatically credited with 100% of the ticket value. The credit is automatically selected as means of payment in your next order.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets that are purchased in our Kitzsteinhorn Online Shop can only be canceled with us and the credit can only be used for our Online Shop.

In case the paid amount is refunded on a credit card or bank account, starjack charges without exception EUR 5.00 per sale transaction below EUR 100.00 and EUR 25.00 per sale transaction over EUR 100.00.
